How do I get started with Mind Cortex?
After signing up, start by adding items to your Inbox. You can do this by typing notes, uploading files, or sending emails to your unique inbox address. The AI will help suggest how to organize your content into Projects, Areas, or Resources.
What is the PARA methodology?
PARA stands for Projects, Areas, Resources, and Archive. Projects are time-bound efforts with a clear goal. Areas are ongoing responsibilities without an end date. Resources are reference materials for future use. Archive stores completed or inactive items.
How does the AI understand my content?
Mind Cortex uses advanced AI to analyze your notes and files. It generates embeddings (semantic representations) of your content, enabling powerful search and contextual understanding when you ask questions.
Can I use Mind Cortex offline?
The mobile app supports limited offline functionality for viewing cached content. However, AI features, search, and sync require an internet connection.
How do I upgrade my plan?
Go to Settings > Subscription to view available plans and upgrade. You can choose between monthly or annual billing for Pro and Teams plans.
Is my data secure?
Yes, all data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use Supabase for secure data storage with row-level security policies. Your data is never shared or used to train AI models.
